Move the Picasa Database From the Default location of System Drive to others

I have been googling for a solution to move the picasa DB from the C:\ drive to the others , as my laptop c: drive went in zero free space.The solutions which i got were not so friendly. Some trials done from my side & arrived at a solution.

Sharing for you guys!

Scenario: Vista Home Edition
Picasa Version : 3 / Location : C:\users\username\Pictures.

Pictures folder was nearly using a space of 4Gb which filled my space in the C:\ drive.

Steps:

#Identify your the Photos path by right clicking any pitures inside picasa & select the Locate on disk. Which re-directed me to c:\users\Gpillai\Pcitures folder in my case.
# Now Open c:\users\ Folder
#Create a folder in the external drive or required drive & Create a folder named PicasaDatabase etc.
#close the Picasa Software if running.
# Right-click the Pictures folder , Select the Location Tab
Click the Move Button
Direct to the New folder / Drive path you created
Wait for the Move to happen
Click ok.

Thats all . Open Picasa & Check .
You are done with it. Enjoy!
